Two Finns and three Norwegian peacekeepers were on foot patroll in Maiman, Afghanistan early this morning when they were hit by a road side bomb. The patroll was conducting security for ISAF hospital employees when the road side bomb exploded. One Finnish soldier later died due to the wounds suffered from the attack. The other Finnish peacekeeper was unharmed from the attack and the three Norwegians were wounded.
